FAQ’s about Lash Extensions:
Q: What are Lash Extensions?
A: A cluster of sterile, human hair is attached to the base of your lashes. This adds length & fullness giving the appearance of larger, more expressive eyes. Lashes are available in black or brown and there are different styles that can be used to achieve your desired look.
Q: Are Lash Extensions suitable for everyone?A: Some natural lash must be present for the extension to adhere to as this will affect the longevity of the service. For those with allergies or sensitivities we recommend coming in for a test patch application of lash adhesive prior to service.
Q: Are Lash Extensions safe?A: Vegetable glue poses no problems for use around the eyes area. Wear of lash extensions poses no concern for the eyes if cared for and removed properly. Safe for contact lens wearers (contact lenses should be removed during application).
Q: How long do they last?A: They can last up to 3-4 weeks. Factors that can influence how long the lashes last are: Client’s natural lash line, elements of exposure and client’s habits. In some cases the lashes last 1-2 weeks.
Q: How do I care for my lashes?A: Things to avoid: Rubbing your eyes, pulling on the lashes, hot showers & steam rooms and sleeping on your stomach. Things to do: Use cotton swabs and water based make-up remover, be careful when applying eyeliner so you don’t catch the base of the extension.
Q: How do I remove my lashes?A: Baby oil and a cotton swab to soften the glue; within a few minutes the extension will just glide down your natural lash.
